about

The Convertibles were a new wave rock band that played throughout New England during the 1980's.
Formed in 1981 by guitarist Denis Maltais and bassist Don Jones in Manchester, NH; they and drummer Bill Northrup performed most often at Manchester's The Casbah Club. Their only commercial recording was a '45 single featuring their original tracks Foolish Movements and Racing at 102, featuring guitarist John Parker on lead.
Now for the first time, listeners can hear 6 other tracks, converted digitally from cassette tape; the survivor of a studio robbery in the early 90's that saw most all of their physical recordings stolen.
